Nationalpark Mols Bjerge //
Kalø Økologisk Landbrugsskole
During a series of small event, we brought nature, music, and community together. In collaboration with Nationalpark Mols Bjerge and Den Danske Naturfond, participants collected and spread wildflower seeds on former farmland in Basballe, helping restore biodiversity and transform bare soil into a thriving meadow.
We also planted the first 20 edible trees for a new forest agriculture project at Kalø Økologisk Landbrugsskole.
Planted 20 trees and countless seeds
Involved 180 people
Introduced 3 Highland cows to graze the land
Hosted 3 concerts, two international from Australia
OUTCOME
Seed Collection
We hosted several seed-spreading events in Mols Bjerge together with Nationalpark Mols Bjerge and Den Danske Naturfond. Participants collected seeds from nearby meadows rich in native flowers and spread them across former farmland in Basballe, giving biodiversity a helping hand. Along the way, people learned how to recognize wild plants and their seeds, when and how to harvest gently, and why seed-spreading is such an effective method of nature restoration. What was once bare soil will now grow into a flowering meadow, creating new habitats for insects, birds, and other wildlife.
OUTCOME
Spread a countless number of seeds
Knowledge sharing of wild plants, insects and methods of nature restoration.

Agroforestry
We planted the first 20 edible trees for a new forest agriculture project at Kalø Økologisk Landbrugsskole. The trees mark the beginning of a pioneering landscape designed to combine food production with biodiversity. As the forest agriculture grows, it will offer both nourishment and ecological value, while serving as a living classroom for students and visitors alike.
OUTCOME:
20 edible trees planted
