The mission of the Positive Trace Festival is to inspire and empower environmental action by bringing people together to restore and care for our living ecosystems. Through hands-on restoration work and a rich program of workshops, talks, and creative activities, we aim to deepen our collective connection to nature and encourage mindful ways of living on the Earth.
As the sun sets, the festival transforms — alive with music, storytelling, firelight, and dance. Evenings unfold with intimate campfire sessions, captivating concerts, vibrant performances, and energizing DJ sets that celebrate life and community under the open sky
Join us for a 5-day journey in nature restoration, knowledge sharing and celebration!
-
Community is at the heart of the festival experience. In this space, strangers become friends. The festival serves as a powerful reminder of how much good can we do when we come together as a community.
-
In everything we do, we aim to leave a positive trace from our work-Nature is at the center. This plays out in everything from from locally sourced products, and recycled decor to turning our food waste and trash into compost.
-
Our goal of the festival is not just to have good time but to also include our participants into projects that they can bring home. That's why all the workshops we do are created for the purpose of creating meaningful and hands-on experiences, that will not only help in promoting sustainability but also create awareness of how small projects can make the biggest impact.
-
We welcome everyone no matter your eye color, age, nationality or favorite hairstyle. That is why the program will be a mix of Danish and English. We create our activites so all ages can participate and make the best memories along the way.

2026 Venue
For the first time, the Positive Trace Festival will take place at Hyllegaard Høje, an ambitious community project working to create a shared living space rooted in nature, creativity, and sustainability.
Surrounded by rolling fields and home to sheep, chickens, and cows, Hyllegaard Høje spans 57 hectares of beautiful land. The community in collaboration with the festival aims to develop a long-term, sustainable land management plan that supports both people and the planet.
As part of the festival, we will contribute to this vision by helping establish a market garden, a fruit and nut orchard, and by enhancing biodiversity across the property. In the future, the site may even grow into a young forest….
