Our Mission

We aim at creating a different way of gathering, where having fun doesn’t necessarily mean producing tons of waste or ruining the environment.

Instead, we want to leave the place better than we found it and have fun during it!

Positive Trace

We want to unfold this concept by creating many different events in many different locations around the world, focusing every time on a specific need of the area or the local community.

This can be done by planting trees, enhancing biodiversity, collecting trash, building sustainable structures and more.

We create the framework and organize the event, shaping it in close collaboration with the local community and experts.

Our Pilllars

Action

We believe in the power of action!

Action is a big part of our gatherings. Together we join forces to shape our surroundings and help nature flourish to the beat of the drums.

Roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty with us!

Knowledge

We are constantly learning and growing.

The gatherings are a place to inspire and learn from each other. We will have a wide range of workshops, inspirational talks, debates, and guided walks in the area.

Creativity

Life is to be lived and enjoyed!

Celebration is the core of our experience. Our stage hosts various local artists, musicians, performances, jam sessions around the bonfire and much more

COMMUNITY

It takes more than one stick to make a fire burn.

Sense of community is the heart of the gathering and everything we do. It’s a space to meet new people, empower echother, learn, laugh and dance together.

Navus Community

Navus Community is an association which is put into this world by people with the clear purpose of contributing favorably to regenerating Nature and Earth through creating learning spaces and interactive festivals. Navus Community was founded in June 2021.

The meaning of Navus

Navus is an old indigenous name of a small place in the jungle of Vanuatu. It has a very special meaning:

“To realize your wrongs and do something about it.”

In that very place, a group of young men from the island decided to challenge the current destructive influences of the modern lifestyle and to return to their roots. They built a place open for people to come and connect with nature. They learned from nature and shared their learnings on how to take care of the environment.

Our founder took part in this movement, living in Navus for 7 months.

As a tribute to the people who started this and the vision that moved them, we choose our name.
