Join us in this workshop focused on restoring an ancient ecological function in the grassland ecosystem, where it has been lost: the dispersal of plant seeds over large distances carried out by large herbivores.

During the workshop, we will take a walk to the captivating Trehøje, a species-rich acidic grassland. As we explore, we will collect seeds and engage in discussions about the various species we encounter. Moreover, we will emphasize the significance of restoring this lost ecological function of seed dispersal throughout the landscape.

To conclude, we will return to the new grasslands at Rødegaard and carefully scatter the collected seeds in a prepared sowing bed. This workshop offers a unique opportunity to actively learn about botany and seed collection while delving into the theory of ancient ecology.

Learn hands on how to construct a forest garden based on Permaculture principles at the Positive Trace Festival.

We will build on the already existing forest garden and expand it by: prepare the ground, plant trees, bushes and groundcover plants and make pathways.

With its diverse elements of ground cover plants, bushes and trees the forest garden is a resilient, low-maintenance system and a great example of the permaculture principle ‘Use and value diversity’.

The forest garden will be a recreational space and offer value to the local villagers of Vistoft who will pass by on the nearby path as well as to the people living at and visiting Rødegaard - through its beauty and the food it offers.

arn how to start a fall veggie garden, where you will learn basic growing skills and compost making based on the biodynamic method.

Birthe Holt will share will share her 40 years of experience as a biodynamic gardener, you will get a basic understanding of biodynamics. What does it take to get into a relationship with nature and grow vegetables which are beaming with health. We look into soil building with biodynamic and regenerative methods, the biodynamic preparation’s and much more.

A morning of insight, understanding and hands-on.

Embark on a longer hike (4 hours) with a broad focus on the nature management carried out in Mols Bjerge, including by the ‘Naturstyrelsen’, ‘Den Danske Naturfond’, and ‘Molslaboratoriet’, as some of the key players.

During the hike, we will discuss perspectives on nature and challenges associated with using versus conservation techniques, as well as current topics such as "what constitutes good animal welfare in nature projects," challenges with "illegal or reckless outdoor activities," and combating invasive and problematic species.

Leading the tour is Thomas Stampe, who works as a project manager in the Mols Bjerge National Park with biodiversity projects on a daily basis

Alexander Holm is a biologist, radio host, debater and expert in nature conservation. He is behind Denmark's most popular podcast, ‘Den Dyriske Time’, about biodiversity, climate and green transition. In addition, he is the head of Arternes Forening, that collect money to protect the world's biodiversity hotspots. He conveys his material with humour, closeness and at the same time directly and without filter. It is academically complicated material, but he conveys it in a way so that everyone can participate.

Learn how to make prints with various plants on paper using a special technique called Ecoprint, where the paper is wrapped and boiled together with the plants. You will try two different techniques on both simple copy paper and slightly better quality paper. At the same time, we will extract ink from plants that are durable when exposed to sunlight.

If you're interested in trying drawing and painting with the ink I bring, there should also be time for that.

For ham har det at dyrke efter de biodynamiske metoder været en rejse gennem iagttagelser og indføling i erkendelser og indsigt omkring dyrkning af jorden som det primære. Derudover er han også med i bestyrelsen i foreningen for Biodynamisk Landbrug.

Acro Yoga is a combination of yoga and acrobatics. It is a wonderful way to use the body, where you jointly sense and collaborate on movement, balance and rhythm. It's a hobby where everyone can join in, and you can do it at any time, as long as you have space and something soft to land on. You get the whole body worked through and it's a wonderful way to feel each other.

She has studied at De Frie lærerskole, RUC and taken creative nature facilitation courses in England and Italy as well.

Anna Toft is a certified Groove-facilitater since 2023, and have been facilitating groove-dance at weekly classes in Copenhagen. She is focusing on creative expression, play and creating a safe space to look silly and real, held in a very positive and colourful way.

Balkan Basterds play folk music from the Balkans that you can't sit still to. KÖZ is an Aarhus-based band that merges genres and styles from around the world with modern Western tones. Rooted in the Roots and Hybrid scene, their music invites dancing to groovy rhythms while also provoking reflection with their melancholic vocal universe. KÖZ is a music collective where the greatest creative force is the desire to play and experiment. Manuela Rauff is a classical singer accompanied by her harp. In this concert, she invites into a journey of longings, dreams, care and adventure.
